My family is not an Adventist and they believe that no one become rich in going to school. I went to college without my parents consent. With the help of my 2 cousins who studied in MVC at that time i able to process my schooling. It was very hard for me because even to buy my own soap, toothpaste, shampoo and other personal things i dont have anthing. I work in Ruby Hall dormitory as a full time worker and i did not received my mothly allowance worth P100 because i dont have downpayment. I worked 12-14 hours a day and sometimes 16 hours to pay the college. I cried at night all the time especially when i wash my clothes because i dont have soap. So what i did i wait till there`s somebody finished washing so that i can just grab her left-over. Its a shameful thing but thats what happened. You know sometimes some of the assistant dean and i went into the garbage area and look for something valuable clean it and keep it. You know theres some things that are still usable and nice. One time also i dont have cafeteria ticket and i am shy to ask somebody to let me eat with them , i went to the DSF for the advance ticket for the next month but they can`t gave because i have still debt i owed from them. I fainted beside the Busines office. No one notice that i am there fainted. When i woke up i am shy because i am setting beside the post near the business office. I prayed a lot. Sometimes i prayed at midnight that somebody can help me even a very little. I cant forget the kindness of Maam Ruelan and Mommy DelaCruz. Maam Ruelan was our secretary of the Dean of Student Affairs and Mrs. Erlinda DelaCruz was our dormitory dean. They are very nice. I went to Maam Ruelan`s house and asked help.She was so nice to help and I cleaned up her yard and she gave me something to buy my personal needs. Also Sir Jondonero the dean of finance that time he has a good heart too. Years and years pass God blessed me with a blessings that i cant imagine. God is good all the time.
