It was bedtime, a 7-year-old boy Teddy went to his bedroom. But as he was about to fall asleep, he remembered to pray. He got up and knelt beside his bed. As he began to pray, he thought of all the people around the globe, millions and billions of hem praying to God together with him that particular night. A question crept into his mind, "Will God hear my prayer, a prayer of a seven-year-old boy?
Have you ever asked yourself like that? "Does God really care to know me, to know my name, and to hear my prayer?" The Bible reveals a God who knows each person on this earth. He knows each one as though there is no one to share His watchcare. Jesus said in Matthew 10:30, "And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered."
If God cares to know the number of your hairs, He cares much more to know your name. If God cares to know the number of your hairs, He care much more to know what's inside your heart, your sorrows and disappointment. If God care to know the number of your hairs, He cares much more to know your prayers.
Friend, in all your fears and tears, look up to heaven and know that the God of the universe cares to hear even your faintest prayer.
