The Big House

When we moved into this giant old house my wife suddenly became a frady cat. She had always been really independent but all of a sudden every bump and noise in the night was reason enough for her to call me up at the office and squawl that she was terrified. So I went to www.SECURITYchoice.com a few weeks ago and they’re coming out to put in an alarm which I’m hoping will make all of her fears die down a little. I though getting the cat would put her mind at ease, too, but no such luck! She’s going to have to get used to living out in the country because that’s where the house is and I don’t think any neighbors are coming along anytime soon. I just don’t know where all this terrified energy comes from since she’s a great girl and is fully capable of taking care of herself which is why I was attracted to and married her in the first place! Where has my little Darling gone?
