Quotes for the day

“And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.” ~ 2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT

Of this you can be sure: the love of God is sufficient to meet your needs. Whatever dangers you may face, whatever heartbreaks you must endure, God is with you, and He stands ready to comfort you and to heal you.

The Psalmist writes, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning” (Psalm 30:5 NKJV). But when we are suffering, the morning may seem very far away. It is not. God promises that He is “near to those who have a broken heart” (Psalm 34:18 NKJV).

If you are experiencing the intense pain of a recent loss, or if you are still mourning a loss from long ago, perhaps you are now ready to begin the next stage of your journey with God. If so, be mindful of this fact: the loving heart of God is sufficient to meet any challenge, including yours.

Food For Thought Of The Weekend

“For we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, of our trouble which came to us in Asia: that we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life. Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead, who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us.” 2 Corinthians 1:8-10 NKJV

From time to time, all of us face life altering disappointments that leave us breathless. Oftentimes, these disappointments come unexpectedly, leaving us with more questions than answers or, for that matter, even when we don’t seem to have any of the answers- God does. Whatever our circumstances, whether we stand atop the highest mountain or wander through the darkest valley, God is ready to protect us, to comfort us and to heal us. Our task is to let Him.

“The next time you’re disappointed, don’t panic and don’t give up. Just be patient and let God remind you that He’s still in control.” ~ Max Lucado

HAPPY WEEKEND EVERYBODY. MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND HAVE A SAFE DRIVE....

Inspirational Message For Everybody

"Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.' 1 Pet. 3:18

The path of righteousness is a narrow, winding trail up a steep hill. At the top of the hill is a cross. At the base of the cross are bags. Countless bags full of innumerable sins. Calvary is the compost pile of guilt. Would you like to leave yours there as well?

Food for thought

* So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. Hebrews 10:35-36

* This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15

Food For Thought

“Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, And He shall hear my voice.” ~ Psalm 55:17

Prayer is a conversation between you and God. But it won’t be much of a conversation if you don’t talk to Him about your hopes and dreams and fears and disappointments. He wants to hear your expressions of love and your thanks.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND....TC

Food For Thought Of The Day

“But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than unbeliever.” ~ 1 Timothy 5:8 NASB

Sometimes, even for the most dedicated Christian men, family life holds moments of frustration and disappointment. The words of 1Timothy 5:8 are unambiguous: If God has blessed us with families, then He expects us the care for them. Sometimes, this profound responsibility seems daunting. But, for those who are lucky enough to live in the presence of a close-knit, caring clan, the rewards far outweigh the demands.

No Family is perfect, and neither is yours. Despite the inevitable challenges of providing for your family, and despite the occasional hurt feelings of family life, your clan is God’s gift to you. Give thanks to the Giver for the gift of family...and act accordingly.

Quotes For the day - Perseverance

Today I will have some quotes to encourage myself and to all readers who wants it. I found this through Google search...

"Never, never, never give up!"
~ Winston Churchill

"A champion is someone who gets up, even when he can't."
~ Jack Dempsey

"Never Quit. "Don't ever, ever quit. Recognize that stopping now, regrouping to try a new approach isn't quitting. If you quit you'll regret it forever."
~ Rudy Ruettiger

"When things go wrong as they sometimes will;
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill;
When the funds are low, and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but have to sigh;
When care is pressing you down a bit-
Rest if you must, but do not quit.
Success is failure turned inside out;
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt;
And you can never tell how close you are
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit-
It's when things go wrong that you must not quit."
